Music Festival...

Bonnaroo helps bring festivals back from the dead

Bonnaroo is back, which means.. my family are going to be hanging out -- hopefully in cooler weather this year than last.

There's some comics I wouldn't mind seeing, some music groups.. definitely. But, at this stage for me.. not worth the cost.

Maybe one of these years....

Bonnaroo 2007

So, my parents posted to my brother and I about the Bonnaroo 2007. I had never heard of it and to be honest, I wouldn't have given it a second thought except for some of the bands that were listed. My parents surprised me by buying tickets for it! My brother didn't surprise me by buying tickets for it. I surprised myself into thinking I may buy tickets for it. But, I'm thinking it's just a bit too much for what it's worth. My parents must have found out about it from the local advertising. They're in Manchester, TN for awhile. So, I'm still debating; while I'm doing that.. I offered them to come over to this side of the U.S. to check out the Shakespeare Festival in Ashland. But, that would only be for a weekend and therefore a lot cheaper. Granted, Bonnaroo would be camping. Granted again, I'm not sure I'd like this kind of camping. ... and it's going to be HOT. Which isn't an issue for my brother and his family. I think all East Coasters are used to the heat. I like heat, I like it a lot. When it's dry. Anza Borrego is awesome in the summer time.. why? Because it's awesomely dry heat!

Anyways, I'm looking for some positive feedback on this Bonnaroo concert ...
